About

Jackie Scott was trained in English and French style bookbinding at the North Bennet Street School, graduating in 2015. Her bindings are held in both private and institutional collections around the United States. In 2018 she began the full-time textile design MFA program at the Rhode Island School of Design, specializing in knit textile design, and is expected to graduate in 2020. She draws inspiration from movement/dance, grief, historical craft practices, and the sublime of the ocean. She maintains a bookbinding practice in her free time.

She is not currently available for commissions of new bindings, but expects to be once she completes her education at RISD.
